myself as bellatrix lestrange, taken in my garden after attending comic-con international 2010ghaaaa my dark make-up wore off by the time i took this picture
ahh yes, my favorite snapshot from the bunch! i am extremely proud of this cosplay, and even though some things are missing (a hood, wand holster, etc), i am content and am pretty much done working on this costume. the only thing that i might fix are the sleeves. they were altered by a seamstress, who drastically made them tighter and better, but they might need to be taken in a LITTLE bit more.

lol sometimes when i go out, whether it being to school, or just doing arrends, i'll dress in a bellatrix closet cosplay XD i once did that the first day of my senior year in high school, and when we were choosing nicknames in stagecraft, someone said, "well, she looks like that one evil chick from harry potter" XD i felt pretty succcesful that day XD don't you love closet cosplaying at school?

and lol thats fantastic! I dont think anyone at my school would recognize that character. people in my school arent very good at picking up on things. and yea, I love cosplaying at school! I do it all the time, sometimes I cospay lovett sometimes I cosplay Sweeney. xD I wish i was allowed to bring my razors to school though

really, no one would recognize bellatrix? laaame! not even the drama kids? i was lucky that my drama class knew of harry potter and tim burton...i really lucked out in that class i guess (especially since i made so many friends in that class as well!) XD isn't cosplaying as lovett fun? lol i wish i could wear that hairstyle all the time! whenever i try to give myself a lovett/helena hairstyle, my mom tells me to fix it because "your hair looks too messy, please brush your hair." but that's kind of the point, her hair is a styled mess XD yeah, bringing razors would be fun...too bad on the weapon rules, huh? XD

Nope. My school is filled with dumbs shits, they would recognize a bad Justin Bieber cosplayer (wtf like why would you ever cosplay Bieber. ) but yea basically you get my point. They only recognize really mainstream pop culture things, they recognize Sweeney because I dress at school like him, but otherwise they wouldn't know what he looks like. And yea, well I wish I could say the same but my hair isn't nearly long enough to do Lovett hair. I wish sometimes it was though. For my senior prom I may grow my hair out so I can do Lovett hair to go along with my gothic Victorian dress i plan on wearing. When I do my Sweeney hair my mom doesn't ever comment on how messy it is becaus my hair is messy on a daily basis since I rarely brush it (i like my hair wavy and when I brush it when it's dry, it frizzes) Yea it is too bad, the rule is dumb because I can bring a metal ruler that is actually sharper than my razor since it's thinner metal, but if I bring a razor that is really dull I would get in trouble because it would be suggesting violence.
