Err...this background looks really really weird to me. I can't control the mouse properly. *sigh* Well it's supposed to be snowing outside, can you tell? I couldn't, hahaha. Somehow I prefer the first background. What do you think?Related content

I love the way that the kimono spills out onto the floor, and the way his hair also has such a flowing appearance. I can't tell that it's snowing outside though.

The detail is great and I love the way you drew the hands...Hands are tough >.<. This background is definately better than the other one, I'd say.

Brilliantly sketched, the composition, the emotion, the colors and the characterization all are perfect.Love the folds of her dress. though i prefer the other background because it just gives the whole attention to the characters. but this is definately not bad esp keeping in mind that these characters need to be a part of the world for animation purposes etc.

you should try using a tablet. even since i owned one.... drawing.. colouring is far much easier. and colouring for the background is ok. maybe you can outline them like you did for the characters. and snow can look more obvious if you darken the outside abit and whiten the snow. abit bit more contrast in the colouring might look better with more depth... thats what i think lol hahaha i aint no professional.
but good work. illustrations are nice. ^^ ganbare.
