Description I've had my eye on several of the dinosaurs from DAZ for a year now.  Scooped them up when they were on sale this week.  Triceratops has always been my favorite out of all of them since I was a child so there was no question which one I'd try first.  When I was little, I had a small, blue plastic one that I'd play with.  For some reason, they always looked like they'd be fun to ride.  I also remember liking the fact that they were herbivores so in my mind that equated to less of a chance I'd get eaten while trying to climb aboard.  LOL   The materials for all of the dinosaur models seem a bit outdated compared to the realism of models today, but some time in Photoshop corrected a bit of that.  This is also my first attempt at using OctaneRender in awhile.  So much to learn about that system...

DAZ3D 4.7, Photoshop CC 2014, OctaneRender 2.x

Nice image - the poor thing must be lost (or it is headed to the only source of water), as all indications were that the ceratopsians lived in herds on the plains. The saurian version of Bison.

Agreed, the environment could be better,  but I don't have any sets that depict the proper environment.  So we'll just say this little guy got curious and wandered off.  Thanks for looking.

I love both the dinosaur and the jungle environment you've placed in him. Triceratops has to be my second favorite dinosaur because it was a worthy adversary for my #1 favorite, T. Rex.

Thanks for both the comment and the addition to your collection.  Funny that you mention your reason for them being your second favorite...In a children's book my parents bought me, there is an image of the triceratops lording over a T-rex she'd just gutted in order to protect her young.  That was another of the images that helped to cement the species as my favorite...cute and tough is a great combination.
