I find the south wester in cape town to be the most unpredictable wind and can bring in quite a variety of conditions to cape town. Often I find it can being quite sporadic and messy clouds which are not always great for standard length exposures, but usually very good for long exposures because they draw lines in the sky over time.

This shot's location needs no introduction, but the 2.5 minute exposure clearly shows the effect of the wind bringing a bank of clouds in from from the SW.

My only wish was that the cloud was a little higher, so that one can still see the sharp edge of table mountain. Can't always have everything!
