I call this picture, Last Ship. It is exactly what the title describes - it's the last off world space ship for those who could afford to get away from their awful fate, which was to get swallowed by a giant World Eater. The picture depicts a sense of loneliness, and a longing for our now lost home world, Earth.There is a contradiction of peacefulness and savagery, of a new beginning of life (the young girl) and a destruction of it ( the end of the world).
I used Photoshop as my medium. And a low res photograph of the girl from Stock Photography.

I often look at this photo, which is horrifyingly beautiful btw, and wonder what the earth's skyline would look like during this. These horrific, toothy mountains, constantly getting bigger, blocking more and more sunlight until there is none. One of my favorite works of art!
