Description
Original painting - oil on canvas. 80 cm x 1 meter (metric)Of all my paintings in this genre, this is one of my personal favourites. I feel that I managed to capture the tonal value of these beautiful animals, particularly in the muscles, as well as a gracious sense of movement.

The detail is amazing on this. I love it to pieces! I think my favorite part would have to be the background. Almost like a stormy sky? The brush strokes hypnotize me. I love it!

You've got such a way of rendering with oil--it looks highly realistic, but you haven't lost the texture and "paint" quality either. This is a beautiful piece for the work on their coats and the subtle detailing in their legs, faces and muscles.
