I am not trying to offend or cause upset. I am sincerely sorry if I hurt your feelings.
I keep my mature filter on, because I prefer not to see nudity and violence. Since your image does not have a mature tag, it popped up on my dA home page and was there for over a week. I know it isn't showing genitalia, but it has enough sexual overtones that it is reasonable to classify it as moderately mature, based on dA's guidelines. ( FAQ #220: What is Mature Content? ) I didn't want to see the image on my front page anymore. There wasn't a way that I could remove the image from my home page so I asked in hopes that you would add a filter to it and it would no longer be on my page. It is kind to consider the thoughts and feelings of others. You are entitled to post all sorts of art here on DeviantArt; placing a mature tag doesn't restrict an artist, it is simply a courtesy to viewers who may be more sensitive. I appreciate it when people are willing to place tags on things.
The image is gone from my page now, so there is no issue anymore. I just wanted to explain my request to you. I hope you have a good day.

If you think that ART is low-resolution photos of women's butts, we have very different opinions.

Yes yes that's totally what I meant. What I'm REALLY saying is: Almost any site where you can upload media and there are no rules for "Porn" or "Sexual" Media or the rule is not enforced. your gonna see this stuff a lot on the site. DeviantART is lazy and the community doesn't care to in-force the rule. so sorry but thats just gonna have to be how deviantART is. Im kinda on your side but DeviantART isn't gonna do anything about it. so I don't think there's a point in trying to battle the ENTIRE community just to enforce a rule that will one day slip again. You have a good point. nonetheless.

I wasn't trying to battle the whole community... I just made a simple request of an artist. Thank you for your input, but it isn't really your concern.

ehhh sorry I guess.
I guess I kinda feel that the community doesn't care and neither does deviantART so this kind of issue isn't going to resolve but I do feel they should put mature locks on it so we can block this stuff and make more use out of the "Mature content" button. not that my problem is worse then yours but I hate MLP and having to see it all the time is irritating (considering 1/8 of it is porn). not comparable but annoying >:I. so I can sorta get were your at. again this whole thing is not my issue. but I will say this conversation has changed my opinion on the matter a little more. sorry about my first argument. I wasn't really seeing the other side.
sorry for your troubles

your point is? 12 mpx is still not a low res photo. i get that this is not art but still.

The point I am making is that the term "high resolution" can be somewhat subjective, depending on what perspective you are coming from. For a standard point-and-shot, consumer camera 12 mpx is a nice resolution--however, there are cameras capable of much higher resolution. 12 mpx is low resolution when compared to professional grade cameras. Additionally, just because an image is taken on a camera capable of higher resolution, does not automatically mean that the photo itself is high-res. Camera Settings and image compression effects the resolution. This particular image is a low-resolution image. *Shrugs*

I'm not feeling attacked, I was just explaining my reasoning because I thought you were confused. My intent was only to clarify. ^u^; It is hard to convey tone over the internet. Sorry if I seemed defensive.
