The story of Morphid is to some extent based on my personal story, so this character turned out to be close to me. By the way, the story itself was composed by my husband writer, who knows and understands me like no one else

Story
Morphid is the daughter and firstborn of a faerie lord. She was born without magical abilities, which is unthinkable for a faerie. At first, the sages tried to reveal her talent, but when nothing happened, everyone turned their backs on her. Morphid became an outcast. Living under constant pressure and contempt, she learned to be cunning and avoid danger in order to survive in a toxic society at court. Unfortunately, this did not save her for a long time. When Morphid was sixteen years old, the courtiers decided to kill her, setting up an accident. Thanks to the cunning and sharp mind, Morphid managed to escape, but the life in the palace was lost for her. She ran away.

A few months later, Morphid reached the Human Empire and was able to get a job as an assistant in a bookstore. Faeries have always been valued as masters of books and knowledge. A man often stopped by that bookstore, always stopping to chat with Morphid. Over time, the faerie was able to confide in him and agreed to a date. During dinner, the man confessed to her that he had fallen in love with her and that he was one of the emperor's advisers. Morphid reciprocated and a few months later they got married. Then, when she felt truly loved, her magical gift manifested itself. Morphid turned out to be a dreamer - the owner of the rarest and most ancient faerie talent. She soon developed her magical abilities to such an extent that she became one of the most famous sorceresses. Her native faerie family found out about her and decided to return her. However, Morphid did not forget her grudge against them. She refused them and completely erased them from her life, and her gift since then has served only her real loving family.
