This may not be a popular opinion, but I like the other B&W version better...

It's the icey surface of Euopa ! what is the fisheye. I love those things when used right. And i like the way it was used here. Mine is a russian 8mm F-4

I got the fisheye just for this trip because I knew I needed a wide angle lens for landscapes. I had planned on using photoshop to de-fish the images, but I started liking the effect so I left them. This is the Sigma 15mm f2.8 fisheye. It has a very good reputation and since it was fairly cheap for a lens I grabbed one.
It's a beautiful lens, it's the EX line so it's got a nice solid build and good finish. It's one of my most used lenses, right up there with my 70-200 heh.

Forget whatever I've said before, this is the best photo yet. Love the curving effect and the perspective. A touch of beauty in an otherwise barren place.

The fisheye adds so much to the photo, you get to see more of the patterns, which to me is one of the most important things in this photo. You really got it all, patterns, textures, silhouettes and a lovely sky! Well done!

The color is gorgeous! I love that purple cast. And the fisheye gives it a really cool effect. Nice shot!
