Description
That five year degree in architectural engineering got her the job, but her boss insisted that all the engineers spend their first year working on a project crew So here she was, her first day on the job learning how to work in the scaffolding, how to run a bobcat, the intricacies of framing and pouring cement and a hundred other skills necessary to turn her plans and ideas into an actual building. She had asked Mr. Johnson, the foreman, what she should wear to work given that the temperatures were routinely 100’F and he had told her to wear what she would normally wear working in her yard plus sturdy boots and gloves. So she did. After the first coworker fell from the scaffolding and a second one slammed a plank through a two thousand dollar plate glass wall, Mr Johnson gave her a pair of baggy coveralls to wear tomorrow. She was happy that he was so concerned about her getting her nice clothes dirty.

This is a very sexy and fun shot, and I like it a lot!
I think that it would have benefitted from a depth of field setting with her in a tight focus, but the background (and foreground) defocusing. In the background's case, it's because 'if everything is in focus, nothing is the focal point', and you WANT her to be the only focal point. In the foreground's case, it helps provide a feeling of actual depth, or layers, to the image.

Most of the ones I've seen lately are a bit more specific, reading 'a lost time accident', meaning an accident that causes somebody to miss time at work for medical care or recovery. The plate-glass breakage wouldn't qualify, but the fall from scaffolding could easily qualify.
