The last panel from this page was one of the very first images that I did when I was developing the concepts. It has been in my mind since the early stages of the proyect so it was a great feeling to finally see it on page.

protogeny is a term under the mythology of the comic, but I can't get into details without giving major spoilers.

Flatwashed color foreground with "traditional" painted background. Awesome. And storyline-wise, OH. SNAP! It's not the proverbial "s" hits the fan moment yet, but it's still an OH. SNAP! moment for the readers/audience. Might I ask where you read/learned about plot pacing? I wants notes.

Yeah, I think this page is were things really start to take off, cause the beginning won't come into full circle until the end of the first volume, which is near, btw
regarding plot pacing, I think much as come from the books and comics I've read in the past. Theres are good resources around the web also. I remember googling "how to write stories" or something like that at some point and there were a few interesting articles about it.

really like the color work you have here...even the backgrounds look enticing but not to the point of distraction-nicely done

it's a constant challenge to focus mainly in the important element of each panel when doing comics, I feel that every element demands attention and detail and I have to constantly repeat to myself " this is not only illustration, you're telling a story."
