Description One of those drawings that just wasn't happening for the first few days and was in the rare mindset of thinking of re-starting until it started to come together.
thanks to the model Anna for taking the time to shoot a bunch of photos for me.

She looks a bit like Candice Swanepoel. I love this eye contact, and she's very sexy really.

I'm familiar with the 'lets start over' mentality. Nice work

i've only ever restarted a drawing once because that was only about 3 hours into it. it was around 3 days when i started to get very worried about this
and there is no way i could summon up the drive/motivation and passion to restart anything at that stage! i'll never be one of those artists that does a practice drawing first. i'd loose all my interest in it. it' all or nothing for me hehe

Usually if I restart something if the objective at the moment is to get the 'feel' about either the subject matter or the techniques that may be employed, or even the materials especially if they are new and unfamiliar to me or if I'm neither confident or secure in my ability. Practicing allows one to address such issues beforehand  prior to committing themselves to a piece. But, I believe everyone has their own approach as to how they learn and progress their artistic skills. Most times I'm just throwing stuff at the wall to see what sticks, you know? XD

yeah i totally understand why people do it your way (the correct way) haha i just need to do everything all at once in order to hold my interest in the piece, if i was doing something very important and difficult perhaps for a lot of money then i would employ a little more self discipline and do it right haha.

Sometimes, it simply comes down to what the ultimate objective is too that dictates ones dedication and self discipline.
