Description
An olivewood heart carved to work as a pendant and as three tiny percussion instruments. There is a cord tunnel through the top part, just behind the greatest width, the rest is hollowed out from the back, and small glass balls sealed in with a walnutwood sounding board so it acts as a rattle - you can see the soundholes connecting to the inner chamber, under the spiral. The spiral marks the point to tap with a tiny mallet for a woodblock sound, and the ridges on the other side are played by rubbing a stick across them. Stained; hand-rubbed wax finish. About 1-1/4 inches high.
