Welcome.
Ohhh! They must be tricky to make.

I only make one of anything*, so it doesn't matter if they are tricky. I recently took a class in having an Etsy shop, which mentioned the importance of avoiding tricky manufacture (or shipping, etc.) in customizable products.

*Actually, I've made two of an item a few times, for earrings. Fortunately, those were not too tricky.

wow that takes some dedication to carve teak. I know I have teak.

I have power tools.

Actually, teak is still hard to carve, even with power tools (and I do a lot of my shaping with hand tools). Years ago (back in the 60s) I was stationed in Korea and wanted to try some carving with a Dremel tool in my off hours. So I got some boards from a packing crate that had come in, that I thought was some nice, soft wood. Nope. Someone in some Asian country was making shipping crates out of teak....

Yes I have about 1000 lbs of teak that was used as shipping crates a very long time ago. My dad was a civil engineer and hobby cabinet maker and when his boss at the time asked him to dispose of the crates that the recent core samples were shipped in he recognized the wood and disposed of them to his garage. I've tried carving it too and obviously it can be done and I even go there on occasion, have even done it by hand, but it is bloody hard wood.

Beautiful wood though.

You have 1000 pounds of teak? Around here, teak goes for, I think, about $15 a pound, depending. My brain croggles. Yes, very beautiful wood.

Yes I have a but load of it. Rough cut about 4'by 8' by about 3' tall stack of 2X4 and 1X4 and 1X6 a few 1x8s all of it has nail holes, of course, since it was from crates. It is very pretty rich red brown to dark yellow brown colors. Beautiful stuff. I've done a few things over the years with some of it and I've wanted to build some furniture from it but so far it is just raw teak sitting there. I've moved it at least 3-4 times across the country. What can I say. I know it is a valuable commodity my dad sold a couple small boards of it 40 years ago to his boss who wanted some for railings on his boat or some such. At that time he sold it for like $12 a board foot I think it was. But for me the price was right and it is beautiful so yes I have a bunch of teak.
