Fifth Organization member in the collection so far!
I really wasn't looking forward to drawing Xemnas, but I actually had a lot of fun drawing him and I'm very pleased with how he turned out!
I tried to make him look sort of sinister, since I figured that's fitting for him
....his hair is just so beautiful

Oh Wow!!!Β Β He looks totally awesome!Β I love his expression! Very mischievous! ^-^ I have a question about your shading (I've been meaning to ask haha) for the shadow from his hair on his skin...how do you do that? like do you use a completely different marker that's close to the skin color or do you blend it some how?(and with what??) haha I've noticed the shadow before and always thought it look perfect! haha

Well, in this case I applied one layer of skin tone(the lightest color), then I applied another layer which makes it darker(it doesn't always work this way with all of my markers, since it doesn't really get much darker after two layers of ink) and then I used a slightly darker reddish-brown in the areas with the darkest shading. I usually just go with a shade darker for the shading around the hair on most of my drawings, but I did it a little different for Xemnas since it goes over his eye and I didn't want it to be to dark

Oh yeah, some of them can be really pricey! I don't think the Faber-Castell ones are to bad though(depending on which ones you get). But yeah, sharpies work really well for a lot of things and they don't usually cost that much, so I think it would be a good start!(that's what I started with^-^)
