Nintendo's had a good year. The Switch is popular and we got some great games to go with it, from Breath of the Wild to Super Mario Odyssey. What better way to end the year than to have the big N's most popular celebrities have a toast over some Mushroom Kingdom brand champagne? Don't forget a new franchise in ARMS, Splatoon getting a sequel and all the goodness on the horizon like Prime 4 and Bayonetta 3. I for one am glad Bomberman got a new game despite how terrible Konami is these days! Oh, and Breath of the Wild being recognized as "game of the year" even by non-Nintendo fans. Now THAT's proof that the Switch really did change things for the better!
