It's just red. I would've given it some very dark red spotches if it were bloody. Looking at Benjamin's design again, I should make it more clear that he actually isn't injured.
He's my brother's OC (which I'm claiming to be mine, because I have to), so again, I'll try to go into a little more detail with him on the design.

Oh whoa I remember what you said again about how your brother made you take his characters. For this dog Benjamin, yeah you should probably try that. You've gotten much better with colors lately, so maybe there must be a way to achieve that just with color? Or whatever you bet will work. If the splotches were there I guess everyone would know it was something, but the splotches not being there is inconclusive.

Well, I think simply changing the color would still make it inconclusive, so would changing the shape.

Yes, but you're better with color than just simple things like that. You're also quite good at knowing how to take simple things and make them become much more. So you should be able to do it.
