Description This is my entry for the masquerade contest of the group:

Ahem.
I totally LOVED doing this. I love Pein. I love the subject. And I love the mood.
I know we can't see it clearly, but on his left side, there is a mask with feathers flowing out. IT'S NOT ONLY FEATHERS GLUED TO HIS FACE. NO.
XD

I took myself as a reference for the pose because I guess I could maybe not have done it in time for the contest closure. (I guess I lose some credits there XD) But even so, I've done this in only few hours, which is remarkable for the time I usually spend on drawings.

Please tell me what you think! I know the background isn't really cool, but I wanted the focus to be on the character itself this time! ^^

Btw, first drawing in a long time! It feels so good! I was happy today XD

I don't own Pein, but oh how I wished so!

Well, I hope you win I won't give you a critique because I'm pretty bad at it... but I will say that I totally liked the design and how even though it is something far from Pain you still managed to capture his essence making him mysterious and atractive and, even sexy.

Great! I love it really, very much! You've made some kind of a new Pain, but it fits him well! He's looking kinda genius, but also sexy and .. "male". He has this serious look in his eyes, that I like very very much! Good job, interesting idea!

I'm still not that experienced...I hardly color things and was using a program I've never used to color before...so I know you did way better than me in that department...as well as the line-art xD (I have no honest idea if it's by votes or not ^: :^" I don't think we were given any information like that)...but I have to say, if I were judging this contest...you'd win, then the the other entry would be second, and mine would be third... but that's just me...I guess it's because I think that everything on yours is beautiful...the outfit on the other one is just...well fantastic...while my outfit..kind of flopped xD I did most of my focus on the masks...(and those even look plain)...I played it safe a bit too much so..yeah

I was going to do it lol.
Why that face. The reason why I didn't submit to the contest folder right away is that I wanted to have advice if I had to change anything that looked bad =_=

Wow this is really amazing! All the contest entries were just like "WOW, why can't I do it like that?!"

Actually the design was easy. I was like "oh well, I'll try this!" ...and then "I'll add this!"
And the result was quite satisfying to my eyes!
I swear this NEVER happens! I guess I was just lucky XD or getting what my mind really wants me to draw; it was about time X_x .

I hope I understood correctly what your last sentence meant English's not my first language so...yeah I guess you know what I mean haha! ^^
