Thanks... which leads me to my comment on yours about the colors. I find when I have such harsh contrast of bright colors and darks, it makes my model renders look quite toy-like and fake, and it diminishes the sense of scale. So I usually have to blend, and desaturate. So, I really enjoy when you make it work so well.

Bright colors work in my comic book art style. Movies have conditioned us expect realistically done giant monsters to be mostly dull in color.

Hey dude, you've come so far since I've seen your stuff last. So impressive. Would you mind giving some advice on making Horns/teeth for monsters? Also would you have any advice/ tutorials you've found useful and wouldn't mind sharing?

I watch a lot of tutorials I find on youTube. all different kinds. 

As for teeth and horns, I append a cone primitive, then stretch it, scale it, and dynamesh it. Once I have it placed, I use the move tool to bend it into the shape that I need for that model. I keep them as individual sub tools, tho I may group them into one for each hand or foot. This makes them easier to texture, which is the last step, after adding divisions. There's really no trick to them. I used to mask out an area on the mesh for a nail, invert mask, then pull that area out into a claw or horn, which looked okay, but found that texturing things that way could be a bit sloppier. 

As for getting better over time, I'm thrilled it looks that way. I've been practicing quite a lot. It's the only way I'll get any better.

Dude. Very, very cool. The textures on his hide are just gorgeous to look at. It's so tangible. And you really did a wonderful job at capturing the monster very well.

Thanks so much. I tried to go for a more man-in-suit look, but a realistic one, rather than the almost Arnold Schwarzenegger looking, muscular humanoid with a tail physique that many of the creatures artwork portrayed him as. Not that there's anything wrong with that style, it just doesn't appeal to me that much. So, in doing so, I thought I may have lost some of the character. I'm happy it's still translating.

I'm actually with you on that....with the whole "man in a suit" look. That is a problem I usually have with "fan monsters". And when I say problem, I use that term in it's lightest context. It's not really a problem so to say....rather it's just my dislike of overly anthropomorphized characters. I really do like the more animal like look. Not....as you so put it....the muscle bound Schwarzenegger looking humanoid beast.
