It's just urxvt with internal padding.

ok so maybe i'm dumb, but i assume you are using this through cygwin? Any chance you could point me towards a guide for getting this going? rxvt doesn't seem to launch for me on windows, even though I can install it.

I use an X server for it called Xming. You can download it from here .
With your terminal open run this command.
export DISPLAY=:0
urxvt&
And boom. urxvt.
I actually have a shortcut to run just urxvt so I can skip the extra terminal and commands but that'll get it started for you.

Ahh gotcha, I know there used to be a native cygwin urxvt port so I was thinking maybe you were using that. I've always found the lag with xming even locally pretty off putting but it sure looks good. Thanks for the reply m8!

I am using urxvt through cygwin and there is slight local delay but it's insignificant considering that it doesn't affect what little I use it for.

Nice, yeah I live on the command line so it's putty for me for now. I really really want gaps though, it looks so slick and i've been rocking on linux for so long. I've actually been hacking at the Putty source code trying to figure out some way to add it but it's not looking like there is any easy way.
