Though, this world doesn't look too much more playful~King Yami

I mainly just wanted to showcase King Yami. This is King Yami Kraft, the most hated king in the entire NoFace History. His father was murdered when he was still physically a child some near 1000 years go and he was made king, however, his father's old advisors (the ones who murdered him) just locked Yami in his room so he wouldn't bother anyone.
Yami took the throne at 28 years old (equivelant to 7 years old to human standards) and started to develop a deep hate for adults in general. He managed to locate the Book of Destiny (which King Maximillian Kraft locked away) and from it managed to summon Chaos the Tar Demon to come and devower anyone who he deemed unfit.
Sadly, the more he used the book the more and more insane the little king become. For nearly a 1000 years he made the land of the NoFace his personal play land (he never aged).
Half way into his rule he started to hide his true appearance away from everyone and making people believe he's some dark deity who enjoyed snatching away all the childern of the land and keeping them in his castle (in reality he was wanting other childern to play with since he started to grow lonely).

Ah, King Yami... You know, the first thing I recognize is that you changed his appearance a lot- When I
look at the one picture where he is shown, he looks way more childish now, which is very good
concerning that the Book of Destiny kept him as a child. And I love his crown. How did you come up
with this particular design anyway? ^__^ With those seemingly cold eyes you captured his insanity
very well. He was a Lightning Element... right? I don't remeber anymore... He could also be an Earth
Element, but I go for the first one since it's a rather bright green. But I could be comepletely wrong XD
However, I like his also new designed clothes, the shades look so cool, although I have to say that I
miss some shadings on his green cloth. But that's just me, sometimes I overshade XD Well, I had very
much fun drawing him :3 I have to say, the feather's coloring is very well done! There's something
special about it I can't put my finger on. Maybe it's the combination of them colors >:3 I don't know.
I also recognize the slight "update" on the Book of Destiny. I love how it looks somewhat older at
some spots. I got kinda sad when I read that he grew lonely and wanted other children to play
with... I have a question though, did these children he brought to himself ever return?
Well... There's not too much to say about the World Nothing background XD But I think you got the
atmosphere right, and it looks just like it does in the game. ^w^ Even though he was responsible
for a lot of terrible things which happened during his rule, he is an awsome and very interesting
character. I just love you for making up this awsome story and all that- You really put a lot of love in
all your character and the history, etc. I admire that ^___^ Maybe I will upload how I drew King
Yami, who knows, perhaps not.

Yeah, I desided to give him a rather massice update. On his color I was actually debating whether to make him an electric blue to tell you the truth, but on rereading what Volix wrote about NoFace identifications I went with the greens I did.
The crown...well, tell you the truth I don't know how I origonally came up with his crown or how I started the NoFace crowns in the first place. The first NoFace crown I've ever made was King Dimentio's crown. Their heads are so oddly shaped that a normal crown wouldn't work for them. Naturally, I tried a design that would fit around their oddly shaped head almost like a helm of some sort so that the crown wouldn't slide off their heads.
You are correct on both when it comes to his element. His Father was an Earth Element, his Mother was an Electric element so his colors is a cross of both, but his key element is electic (chaotic lightning storms, lightning blots, inner electicity, exc), however he is able to cause some minor Earth Element abilities though he's not good at them.
As for the Book of Destiny, yeah, I gave it a minor update cause well it's old as dirt in age. The feather is actually fairly significant. That feather is an immature Phoenix feather (in the Land of the NoFace only Fire Elements own or can even get near these birds which the pheonix is hot blue in their immature state). The feather was presented to Yami by a rouge Ghastium raider as a gift stating "The last of the Fire Elements has been killed".
I've been getting this alot that people think that Yami is a fairly tragic charactor being that he never had anyone to play with him and that his once happy home life was taken from him due to evil NoFaces. About the Childern now, on kidnapping them he never revealed to their familes his true appearance, however, when back in his castle he show the kids that he to is a little child. There were some that trusted him, alot that hated him, but all in all he never harmed another fellow child cause well oddly enough Chaos the Tar deamon didn't lay a hand on them...unless one ticked him off then Chaos would just eat them.
Being a child in the castle is actually the safest place a NoFace could be during Yami's rule, however, it was also one of the most nightmarish places to be. Since Yami never ventured too far from his castle Chaos would go and fetch food for them all and...sickenly enough it was always half eatten NoFace soldiers that tried to go against Yami (thus forcing the childen to canniblize their own race, driving many into insanity).
The sad thing is that if you come to the age where you are no longer a child Yami would just kill you square away saying that "you've become a bad person". The female NoFaces had a slight better time. Every now and then Yami would dub a female NoFace his "Mother" and she would basicly hold the second highest posision of power.
I would love to see your drawings of King Yami. Crap, I would love to see any drawing you do of the NoFaces, I like them too much XD

technically, he was over a 1000 years old, but yeah he basicly was a child mentally and physically (mainly cause his over use of the Book of Destiny perminatly kept him as a child).

I really liked this character when I read about him in 'The Land of the No-Face.'
He's such a tragic character- one that could have been avoided, methinks, if everything that happened to him never did.
I rather feel bad for him, even though he's out of his mind he was probably incredibly miserable deep down.

IF things didn't go like they did in the first place, Volix wouldn't be as he is now
Yami had all the fire element NoFace erraticated thus causing Volix's wicked father to be slain numberous of times and eventually disapper all together (ending him in the arms of Maxien the Shadow Siren).
If the fire elements didn't get killed off Volix wouldn't be called Volix and he would be one very wicked and evil NoFace bent on destoying the planet in the name of Gilgamesh like his father Midaus before him
