Ok, I got bored today and desided to draw up Chaos and Dimentio. As you can tell Chaos is a formless gunk demon, created by Gilgamesh long long LONG time ago.
Like the metephore goes, when you are being used you are to the master like a puppet on strings. Well, sadly that's all Dimentio is to Chaos.
Took a few hours because I had computer problems.
Like everything else D-Arted in my gallery, this is all drawn and colored without the use or means of a tablet. Sure would love to have one.
Just to let you all know, I am making 3 versions of the "Puppet On Strings" so yeah there's going to be 2 more puppets and masters coming up.

Okay, random critique time!
I think this piece is brilliant. The way Dimentio's colors are faded and it makes him blend in with Chaos is a very neat affect. And the transparent border on the Chaos Heart, I think, adds to the thought that it is one seperate, individual thing, and it is not in front of the humanoid figure, it is INSIDE it. I also love the way Dimentio is reaching out, as if he sees YOU, and as if he's imprisoned. The Void looks amazing, especially the color scheme you did on it. It gives it a sinister feeling. And last but not least, I ADORE Chaos! He/it is designed perfectly! The hands that look like claws gives it a scary, controlling feeling and it makes you want to help Dimentio! Dun even get me started on the facial parts! This is simply amazing!

In the Underwhere, Queen Jaydes, the ruler, stared coldly at the jester. He had done inexplicable evil⦠and failed. Naturally, he would be imprisoned in this enormous torture chamber known as the Underwhere. Overthere was not an option.
Queen Jaydes looked at the jester. He had a wicked smirk plastered onto his face, which was obscured by a black and white comedy mask. Jaydes scoffed. He didn't even regret what he did. Not one bit, by the looks of it.
But when Jaydes got closer, the tears in the jester's eyes became visible. And what was in his eyes was pure terror. A desperate plea for help. An extremely dark entity was directly behind him, enough to rival even Queen Jaydes's power. The Chaos Heartβ¦.
That's when Jaydes truly felt mercy on the jester.
Dimentio opened his dry, cracked lips.
"Helpβ¦ meβ¦."

i always saw dimentio like this, but diferently. I always pictured *MY FANFIC SPOILER* that Demateo (Dimentio's dad) had killed Dimentio and his wife. Dimentio's soul was separated in two pieces : his own body and another body: Diana.
and his dad's soul in three: his own body, Dimentio, and Diana.
and dimentio and diana had been put to sleep until Demateo was dead. Dimentio could be himself at times, but Demateo could control him. Dimentio built a mask (his mask) and with it, he could control himself as himself and Demateo not. But if his mask breaks/ stops working, Demateo would take over his body and Dimentio would die. But in the end of SPM, Dimentio was defeated, so he was killed. And so, the third body, Diana, is both Dimentio and Demateo again, but she is dimentio during the day and demateo at night. in the end, someone (IM NOT TELLING WHO IT IS) will deside wether dimentio will live again or diana. and i still don't know what will happen.. :3

At that point in the story, Dimentio's status as a tragic villain hadn't really been established. He had had elements of unfortunate things happen to him, but ultimately was still responsible for everything he was doing.

when I first saw his full in depth profile I came into wondering...why is he so at ease in killing, at ease of hidding, at ease with alot of things...I questioned who he really was when he knew of the pages of the Dark Prognosticous
so I drew this. I thought of a monster that was origonally a demon named Chaos who was busted into three parts: Heart, Soul, and Mind.
The heart was sealed in the void, the mind was sealed inside of Dimentio, the soul....I can't tell you because I'll blow my Mirror Madness story
