Dressed in the whitest silver you'd smile at me

I never like submitting pieces by their lonesome, but since my other picture of Mr. Hickson (another member of SL's enormous cast) isn't cooperating with me, I'm posting Selene up by herself XD
She's so naughty, going outside in nothing but her silk chemise, and with her hair down! That's highly improper for a lady back in the eighteenth century, and for a baron's daughter at that!
Maybe she's just in the privacy of her bedroom, or maybe she's in the company of a certain trusted dark-haired friend on their travels... who knows

Ooo, I love the secret, intimate feel of this. The painting is very well done, it has a very solid feel, and all of the folds if her gown and contours of her skin are well picked-out. I love the theme of sea and sky that runs through so much of the paintings related to this canon, it adds to the feel of vast scope and adventure.

Thank you again! <333 I'm so glad you caught the recurring maritime theme, as this story takes place in 1700's Cherbourg, France. It was a booming port town, even back then. Plus the main character is an ex-pirate! XD
Unfortunately it hasn't been written yet as it's gone through countless revisions, and we plan to have it published as a book so the whole thing probably won't be posted on dA. Although if one of us ever learns how to use Flash, I've always wanted to post illustrated excerpts from the story in the style of `yuumei 's "knight" story --> [link] Unfortunately I don't have the necessary time or patience to undertake such a project XDDD

I can't imagine how time-consuming projects like Knite would be! You're right, I wouldn't want to hijack a comic format she has made her own, plus her story has the kind of suspenseful pace and tranquil feel that fits with the flash comic. I know some people post their stories on a website along with the various character profiles and a history of their world. That might work for you!

I TOTALLY LOVED THE DOODLE OF THIS ONE BUT DYAMN THE COLOURED VERSION IS LIKE IODSFDS <33333333
EVERYTHING ABOUT HER IS SO GORGOUS AND SHE WORKS SO HARD TO KEEP IT THAT WAY AND ALL HER HARD WORK HAS PAID OFF! SHE BETTER BECAREFUL OF THAT SUN THOUGH HAHA
Her face is so beautifully detailed, man I’ll never know how you do it! I just LOVE her eyes the way she’s looking over at someone with such a soft and adoring look and I think we can guess who as she doesn’t seem to concerned about being caught with her down in not but her night gown!
And speaking of her hair sdfhdf BEAUTIFUL DOESN’T EVEN BEGIN TO DESCRIBE HOW IT LOOKS!!! You added detail to just about every part of it and I love that, especially her side part where you can see the top of her head just a little and where the hair starts
And what a pretty BG i like how it isn’t entirely detailed and it fits so nicely with the pic, it keeps the main focus on Selene and her beautiful face!!!

AWWWW TYYYYYYY <3333333333333333333 Hahaha personally I think the doodle turned out better than the finished product but that's just me XD It's hard to draw faces from that angle!
YES SHE WOULDN'T WANT HER SKIN TO FRECKLE! But she is a ginger so it's natural that it's going to happen XD Her mother won't be too happy about that, but certain people will find the freckles totally adorable!
Hahaha I could imagine this scene! Maybe it's when they're on the ship to a certain safe destination and Selene didn't have time to change out of her night shift before heading out? We can figure that out later XD
I LOOOOVE Selene's curly red hair. It makes me so happy <3 She probably uses oils or something to make it all soft and silky and loves the feel of her hair down XD The only drawback is all the tangles that it might accumulate!

Awwww thank youuuuuuu for taking the time to comment! <333 It took foreverrrr to get the face to look right and it's quite different from the original drawing XD (You're making me want to post sketches because there's literally a ton of those that wind up sitting in the sketchbook and never get coloured. XDD) Curly hair is a challenge indeedy!
