Hi from
Boy... boy oh boy... this right here is... especial.
This caught my attention right in.
I know what you're thinking, I know what we're all thinking, the sonic fandom has gone places in the last couple years, and there's a looot of content out there that could be a little hard to understand for some people.
Make no mistake, your work is amazing and you do something I love seeing on artists which is take a ridiculus concept, and use your talent to illustrate it in a new, professional way.
I love it when people make stunning artwork using something as stupid as Coldsteel for example, there's a charm to it, and you did just that with this joke character right here.
I would 100% done the same if I made a joke character as well
Lineart: non-applicable
- Your artstyle does not use any linework for the final piece, but you obviously not need them, every detail is perfectly defined through shading, blending and color values.
Colors: Amazing!
- Sometimes I see people struggling with making metal look like metal, skin look like skin and cloth look like cloth, I've seen many times people choosing quote on quote wrong type of color for a specific material. But you did it perfectly in here.
- Very good choice to use blue and orange for the girl, those colors are eachothers complement and make each other pop out.
- Then you have the slight yellow tones on the weapon, they're strong enough to let us know they're there but at the same time they're soft and subtle so it looks more like weared off paint
- I love that cian color you used for the tubes on her head, they're pleasant to look at, and they also complement the color of her eyes as well.
- The colors for the character are very intense but they don't distract you from looking at the gun!
Anatomy: Amazing!
- Of course we need to talk about the sonic-like head, it's obvious you had to make it big in order to portray a sonic character so I'll just leave at "it's too big for a normal body", this is perfectly okay by these circumstances.
- There's no avoiding this. the boobs are impossibly HUGE, she should have back pains from having to carry those around everywhere, and the difference between them and the actual torso is abismal, I don't think it's necesary to elaborate further on why this is not anatomically correct. Again, this is okay because the whole point of the character are her boobs.
- You have an amazing knowledge of human anatomy when it comes to muscles, I actually checked a ref image of the human body and pretty much all the corresponding muscles are here! you can even see the bones on her arms from how buffed she is, the abs, the thighs.
- Hell you can even see how the fabric is so tense from having to cover all that work out, it almost looks like it's gonna tear!
- Ignoring the boobs and the head, everythings good.
Shading/blending: Amazing!
- This is probably the best aspect of the whole piece, the soft shading in here was apparently done through color blending, let me tell you, you did an amazing job in this aspect.
- Every muscle is defined through this process, as well as the effects on the metal plates, the gun, the tubes and the skin.
- I can't find anything wrong regarding this topic, I can't even nitpick, it's just good. How the gun has a rusty look along with some extra white tones to make it look shiny in both the blade and the yellow squared plate. how the spiky metal plates have stronger colors because they shine more, how the clothes have this extra touch adding texture to it to differentiate it from the skin, how the black leather has more soft shading, how the tubes look translucent. Everything's good.
- Wonderful detailing of the folds in the clothes on the black leather and some sections of the blue suit.
Design: Great!
- This is an interesting design to be sure, kinda reminds me of samus Aran a little bit, just less sexualized. There are many details I think are cool, like the skull shaped knee guards with traces of being scratched and red eyes, the gun itself, the shoes look very interesting too!
- One problem I see though is that she seems to not have a container for the fuel to light up the flamethrower, I see the hose coming out the gun and going towards her back, but it would have to be a really small tank for her to carry it around wearing that outfit, maybe it's not even there?
Composition: Averange
- Boobtilda's pose is not bad per se, but it doesn't look very menacing, it's like she's just standing there for no reason in particular other than posing for a photo.
- In fact, it kinda looks generic in a way, probably because her torso and hips are too upright it looks very stiff, maybe try making her have her hips more to a side while resting her free hand on her lap, or have her lean backwards little bit, making her look upwards to make her seem more severe.
Background: Good!
- The hexagonal pattern works wonder for the theme of the character, and the blueish, pink colors help concentrate your attention in the character.
- I think you could've worked a little more on rendering the floor though, there's still a little bit of bg on the lower left. the shadow could've been more consistent.
Conclusion:
An amazing drawing, definitely.
Even as a joke you still managed to make it interesting to look at and make people pay it attention before clicking in.
I admit I was a little confused of this picture, I thought it was a comission or something, but learning it was done like this on purpose made my day, hahaha!
Sorry I couldn't do more than gush over those blending skills and those muscles but I really can't find many flaws to point out.
I hope this comment can be useful to you, have a nice day.

Hi! I'm from ProjectComment
This concept is,,, unique? I know you said it was a joke, and she does seem like a sort of Mary-Sue but other than that the art is really good! There are a few things you could improve on, first, I'll tackle the character's personality aspect.
If she's stubborn and ruthless, it'd make sense for her face to be more angry looking and frustrated. Other than her facial expression, you displayed her personality rather well in the rest of the piece. Due to her personality though, it'd make more sense if she was actually frustrated by the size of her boobs, as it may deter her success in missions. (E.g, gets annoying to run with or the enemy starts taking it easy on her thinking she's girly which makes her feel less accomplished)
The bio is quite long and a little tedious to read. If you could shorten it down a little, people would be more willing to learn about the character!
The way you shaded really great! But I can't tell where the light is coming from. If you made a certain point where the light is stronger, then it'd improve the overall aspect. There isn't much I can say about the rest of the piece, but I hope these tips and criticism helped you improve!
I hope you have a lovely day/night/afternoon!

Hello! Here from ProjectComment for their contest!
I know you said that this was a joke but I would like to point out that there are many good things about this piece!
Pros: The shading is great. One good example would be her right boob. The top has light and then there is a little bulge that has some reflective lighting, small, almost unnoticeable but a nice little touch because boobs actually do that. They get pushed around into different shapes and angles that reflect in different ways so good reference. Speaking of reference, I can tell you used good references for the muscles. One thing is though, her chest, for a body builder, wouldn't look like that. Even if she was wearing a corset that pushed up her boobs, they would never block the front of her muzzle like that. Unless they tore. Women body builders do have boobs but they tend to have more defined but flatter chest muscles. The boobs would always be rounded because that's their anatomy but the actual chest muscles around her boobs would be defined but flattened. www.google.com/search?q=body+b… :
Also her right knee could be turned to the right more because it doesn't line up right with her thigh and foot. Other than that, her anatomy is pretty good! I really like her leg muscles and her arms. I like when a character makes sense. A character that is trained and handles guns frequently would have muscle definition and she has it!
I like all the little details like the details on her muzzle when you zoom in. It's hard to tell what it is, freckles maybe? Either way it is a nice little touch to add more interest! The fabric looks believable and constructed nicely. It is amazing how a few simple lines can change the whole outlook of fabric whether it is a pattern or the fabric itself. It makes me believe that it's a sturdy material, kind of like a bullet proof vest type of material which makes some sense since she is dealing with guns here. Good connection with that! The mechanics of her gun is the most interesting to me because it is a nice design instead of just a generic hand gun. It fits with her universe, is creative and looks like it packs a punch; perfect fit for her anatomy! There is a lot of nice reflective light, in red, on her shoes and white light in her gun. I like the shading around the studs on her gloves.
A couple things to end: One small thing is her eyes. Her eyes seem a little bit too far apart but I do like the rendering of her eyes! They also fit nicely into her color palette of cool grays, blue and orange, which are complimentary colors, so good call! And one tip, one thing some artists do that really helps would be to switch the image to gray-scale to check your values. To see if you have enough contrast between dark and light.
I like the design of this character and especially the design of the gun! And I'm really liking your anatomy, and your referencing, and your shading! Great job on this!

Hello again! XD
Commenting on behalf of ProjectComment yet again!
So this is a very interesting character... To say the least lol
Well I'll start by saying that the anatomy is very good, especially considering all the muscle. Lots of people find muscly characters hard/annoying to draw so great job!
The colours used are quite nice as well, and the orange, blue and silver go together really well.
The design is also... interesting XD
I also like how you did the shiny parts without overdoing the shine. It tends to be another thing people struggle with constantly
So overall, interesting character! Her colour palette and backstory are my favourites haha ^^

hi!im a fella artista from , i think i have some things that you have to make your art better, first, her uper-body is so thin it kinda looks like she has not eaten in months(if it was intencional then ok).other things is not from the artwork but from her name,it sounds like she was born with huge boobs or that her mother or father was a pervert.i think it would be hard for her to figth because of the size of her chest.i think that you tried to make her sexy but she looks alittle bit weird.hope you take this inmind!

Lol
She's actually muscular. Compared to other mobians she's rather large.
Her and her brother have odd names- Boobtilda and Dicknickleson lol. I did that intentionally which is why their background is a mystery.
