awsome work, I love the attention for detail, within the crest in the clothes of the knight, his whole baggy clothes from wandering through the desert and the detail of the bandage around his arm. the horse looks very mean at the apple, maybe wanting the fingers of its master >.< The guy has a real great face, lovely smile and cool appearance. Epic work.

here be unwanted/unasked for advice:
a tip for horse eyes: unless the horse has blue eyes, always draw them black from corner to corner. this way you avoid the common 'demon eye' look, that can happen when they're eyes are drawn with the correct pupils.

Lol, I was thinking the same thing, the only other thing in the picture that bugs me is the front fetlock because it is so slanted. Makes for a smooth gate though for a trail horse...

The horse is cute...his nose doesn't look so natural, but I really like it, though!

I used to ride a horse that would make that face. I think the horse is thinking, "Why are you giving me that apple? What did you do to it? You did something to it, didn't you? There's medicine in there isn't there?" At least that's how the horse in my past was. He was so funny! Looking at this picture, I can't help but think that those two probably had the same or close to the same relationship we had.
