Nice art style.Β
My feeling right now is quite complex. I...don't know I should be serious about this comic or not, but my personality makes me think very deeply on almost everything and I can't help it.Β
I want to talk about Altair. Yes, you, and the author of the story are right. He was pathetic! When I read comments about Altair, people often say the words like "arrogance","cold-blooded" and "emotionless". Altair's greatest flaw, which seems to be agreed by most of the players, is arrogance. But I don't think so. Arrogance is not part of Altair's true personality.
I think his greatest flaw that led him to make those mistakes was blindness. Because of the blindness, he didn't see the consequence that breaking the creeds would lead to; didn't care about others' feeling and couldn't see who he really is, his true self. Therefore blindness was what made him "arrogance","cold-blooded" and "emotionless". Those are not really who he is!
What makes me believe it is that an arrogant person couldn't seek out the truth and be brave to do the right things. An emotionless person won't try their best to improve his organizaion......
Blindness was more like an obstacle rather than a flaw for Altair, which covered his true self. I played Assassin's Creed 2 and read all the document Altair had wrote. I found out that he has a rich inner world, and he does care about the Assassin organization and the creed.Β
That is the reason why I like him.Β
True, he is imperfect and he did commit severe mistakes. His blindness made him pathetic. But at the end, Altair overcame his obstacle and achieved his final redemption-the forgiveness of Malik. He changed, becoming a better person.
I saw myself on Altair. Although he was arrogant, I was self-abased, we both suffered in blindness and coundn't see who we really are. Then we made different mistakes under different circumstances. But it was Altair gave me courage to see and to accept who I am. He showed me the courage to defense the standpoint, so I had courage to say no to the things I didn't want to accept. "Nothing is true. Everything is permitted" is not about freedom, but about choice. We all have choice to be a better self, rather than let our obstacles take away our freedom.Β
Anyway, I still believe his true self.

I really love this. Your style is truly amazing, still I have a question. What about the people who don't know German? They don't know what the Templar is saying. They can only guess from the content

Honestly, I agree in a way, but in a dire situation regarding Altair's life, he would have half of a heart to let him in.Β
Only if he says the magic word

I meant like, Malik wouldn't stand there and let Altair get hurt, you know? He wouldn't deny him a but of help, even though Altair normally doesn't need help because he's a badass. Wait... What exactly are YOU Talking about? : )

I sometimes simply 'invent' new languages for my stories.
If you had one superpower/ability/whatever, what would it be?

Fire manipulation sounds interesting.
I found a poll on the inetrtnet, treating the topic.
I'd like to be able to read/write/understand/speak every language in the world. Langue is magnificent, it never ceases to amaze me.

Huh. That's a little difficult but it sounds awesome! And yeah, the main thing I take from other cultures is their art and music.

My name is the Norwegian variation of Bridget
