Fantastic! I like the girl on the main background of the cover! She has bright colors on the clothes, like purple. This is great work, I love it! If I knew about this game,or film, or animation or something.
In short, I would have wondered, if possible.
But Yes, I understand that this demo version, because there on the right top corner written. I noticed it very funny characters, as in your animations about RE. Still, I wanted to know more about it, and then start to be confused... Especially the background... hmm. More recalled something Undertale, but I don't think it is. I like being able to know the characters.

I was playing an RPG on Kongregate the other day, when I started thinking about your games. Have you ever considered making games for Flash gaming sites? Your RPGs are slightly better quality, particularly in the art department, than the one I played, and that had nearly 2 million plays. There's some decent ad revenue to be made on those sites. The only problem is they're made in Flash, whereas your games are RPG Maker.
Game development aside, Twizt is one of my favorite OCs. She's like Teh Stream's mascot.

Hadn't really considered it, I never had an easy time using Flash as a drawing tool. Always feels way more technical than it needs to be, when all I really wanna do is put a pencil to paper, figuratively speaking. I might try making variously styled RPG Maker games in the farther future though, maybe try making some original sprites/art instead of the standard VX default sprite base.
And yo glad you like her! She's like the first, more prominent OC I've made ever since I started Youtube stuff. Feels good, man.

From what I've seen on the demo, I like the battle system, classic turn-base, the theme songs are good. The abilities are pretty good as well, I bet the story for the actual game will be interesting. I also like the journal, thankfully it doesn't take long at all to figure out the controls.

really love the new battle system, the new AM bar helps out a lot better,
also dig the journal idea too, I mean, then it comes to playing RPG and you take a break
from it, then jump back into it's hard to tell what you did last and where you have to go next.

I wanted to give a rather in depth review on this little demo, but I just cannot get myself to find the words. I didn't see much wrong with this in the least. The only thing that fully bugged me was the objectives page. Simply irritated me, I would hit Q look at the objectives. No issue, but when a new one appeared. I would hit Q only to be shown my old objective and have it just randomly disappear from my screen. Only to click the spacebar and have the new one appear.
I don't know if I am the only one who had this happen, or if that is how it was. [ I hadn't looked at the controls, figuring they were the same from Teh Stream ].
Other then that little issue, I am really excited for this game, it is going to be interesting playing it from Twitzted_Chick's point.

I actually noticed that weird thing with the journal at one point. It seems to happen when you try to open the journal immediately after the update message. I think it's something to do with not enough "waiting" time in between one quest being completed and another one being started. I'm hoping it's that simple anyway, but I'm gonna be messing around with it some more and hopefully fix that. And thanks, happy to hear it!

It's okay, the comic is still in-progress and I gotta get around to it someday...
Basically this game is going to be told from Twizt's perspective, taking place at the same time as Teh Stream RPG . It'll be mostly the same areas and people, but she'll be treated considerably different by everyone and experience different events.

Aw man! Although Twizted_Chick(Something along those lines) was given an antagonist role(which kinda made me hate her a bit), I certainly hope that if this were to turn into a full adventure, it'd be to let her redeem herself in the eyes of the player. I mean, she certainly has potential
Anyway, my mind is too blown by this to truly make a coherent statement(I even had trouble with the above statement)

Haha, this'll be awesome to see one day! It'll definitely be cool to learn how she became to salty in the first game. I mean, the picture used for this prequel cover has her looking as sweet as sea salt ice cream(maybe she still had some salt in her before?)

Well, I guess it was a good thing for me to finally finish up Teh Stream RPG a couple days ago. Sequel time baby! Let's rock. You should seriously franchise this, I'm all for this shit lol.
Edit: Well that was fun! It wasn't much but I'm already loving the changes like the ability to optimize equipment, being able to see your opponents health/mana and the quest log to track objectives.
Can't wait to see more!

Gotta say I am loving all the polished effects you were able to slap in such a small demo. It definitely makes me excited to finally move onto VX Ace once my current project is done.
It obviously wasn't a perfect demo, but you know that, and you own that. Nothing wrong with that, I see this as basically a tech demo.
I'm super excited to finally get to play Twizted Tale sometime in the future! Keep up the great work, and have fun with it.

Thanks! And yeah ACE has a shitload of new variables in almost every category that opens up a ton of possibilities. Now if only I didn't suck ass with numbers and battle programming...
Right now I'm working on making the menu look a bit nicer, and got a script to replace that godawful turn-in-place one.

You're welcome! I'm certainly excited to see what you can do with it, and I'm glad to see the jump from VX to ACE is more noticeable than I thought it would be. Definitely excited to finally be done with VX.
I find balancing battles to be one of the hardest tasks for an RPG Maker game. It requires a bunch of testing and random tweaking. I certainly recommend having veteran gamers as well as total casuals play test battles, even if you want to make a demo just full of battles.
I thought Teh Stream battles were great though, especially since they weren't based on grinding, but more on using proper strategy and character maintenance.

Yo yeah, ACE has a lot of fancy effect scripts. That weather one (floating pixels) made me so happy, though I don't wanna overuse it either XD But you got a lot to look forward to!
I'm still tweaking with this one to be honest, ACE has a shitload of variables but they can also be a bit confusing too. But I'm sure after time it won't be so bad, definitely a lot more options than VX to play around with. And yo thanks! Definitely gonna keep that non-grindy set up.

Twizt's role in RPG wasn't that big so ,yeah, i doubt you gonna make it a 70-hours thing XD
Still i keep wondering what kind of locations are going to be there since Twizt has intrests different from yours...

Okay great to know, when I first did the delete RTP thing the whole game crashed the first few times and I was like OH FUCK. I got it to work eventually, but I wasn't sure if it was just because I owned VX ACE or not so that's good news. Yeah and the movement thing, I was debating between that, having diagonal movement, or just leaving it the fuck alone. I'll probably just leave it to default though, diagonal can sometimes clip corners and looks willy without a 3/4th sprite.
And yo, thanks for the offer! At least everything else is just cosmetic so hopefully it's not so difficult to work around.
