looks female. anyways i dont tend to make the face more realistic unless im drawing by HAND. using MS Paint im making sum chibis. that are not chibis but just the hands.

Yeah, I cant draw from a base thats already drawn for me cuz to me, it feels like not my work. I prefer out of my head. XD Tho the only thing I have trouble drawing is hands and feet, thats why u see in my videos, hands are balls and bare feet are rounded like a loaf of bread or with shoes on, they are a lil more rounded. o_O Hey, it works for me!!

Just study your real hand, something like hands, little shape details make a difference between a semi-real looking hand and a Mickey Mouse glove.

Well, I don't think using reference pictures is bad, it might really help you sometimes... But if your pics really turn out better when you do it from your head, that's great!

Ummm, donΒ΄t you know about the "circles trick" for drawing bodys??? They come out more proportional, and that trick really helped and helps me.
I actually never used anime bases at all. I think it kind of limits yourself to the poses someone else chose...

Well this is the only time I've done it, but I also hate the circle thing, like drawing shapes inside, I hate doing that, I just draw... I can't explain it, I've always had my own style of doing it.

The cirle trick only helps you to get a more proportional idea of the body. And for when you are trying to make a more difficult pose.
I actually hated it myself, but when I tryed it, it made me improve a lot. After a few times, you donΒ΄t really need to draw circles anymore, and you improve in the process. ItΒ΄s like, how to call it.... a "temporary protesis"?
