Erik gets unmasked and he gets raving mad while Christine cowers! I want to color this but I'm just too darned lazy. It takes forever for me to do coloring on the computer because I don't know any shortcuts on doing it and it takes days for me. Argh. I still like how the picture came out though. It's my first attempt at trying Erik without his mask! (Leroux version inspired) I just have to say that sylent phantom...sorry if I spelled your name wrong - your wicked maskless picture of Erik inspired me. For the curious - check out SP's Erik pic in my favorites gallery in all it's creepy glory!

I can't remember if there was any mention of him being an opium addict in the original novel by Leroux - but if you go by Susan Kay's version of Erik he most certianly was!

I'm glad you like it! Yeah I'm in the process of reading Leroux's version of PTO right now! It's freakin AWESOME! I also love the Susan Kay version too. I'm glad the hands are all right - I always have trouble drawing hands.

Really?! I do the same thing! My writting is so horribly sloppy, my teachers have been whining for years. And I also remember emitting a girly squeal when I read that Erik was a lefty in Susan Kay's novel. Hurrah for us!

when we went and saw that...most of the audience heard the words "You fucking moron!" aimed at christine coming from me somwhere near the front row during the "say you'll love me" song scene on the roof when Eric looks out at them.
