this is just a step on the road to nowhere. its another part of a theme i keep returning to, what passes for art these days.there are hours of my life in this that i will never see again. lots of stock photography. kudos and thanks to the respective photographers.
please, i want you to comment the hell out of this, its something i want to develop. thanks.

this is really really cool.
the only thing i would re-think is the border. a thick, clean, black border would really highlight the piece.
love the texture, the lighting is very nice, too.

i tried clean black border, didnt work for me, the grungey effect dosnt quite achieve what i was aiming for, but its close. thanks for the comment. how did you find my gallery by the way?

mint im doing the same thing at the moment but with an H.R Giger feel to it with all bio-mechanical stuff incorporated into her skin

this is really awsome i was looking for a stock pic like that for a recent deviation i did really awsome work ( i would have loved it if u had made the fingers like roots, just a suggestion ^^)

I would say the image looks a little 2 dimensional, (the body is a bit flat) I would suggest you can try to find a way to make it look more 3 dimensional. And I don't think the border fits into the picture, the numbers running down the side etc. A different color would work better too. Other than that, I think the concept is great, I love the textures and the overall concept. I'd love to see where this goes. I'm just being nit-picky

That peeling bark effect is very nice.
For some reason I look at this and I think crows head. Like I want to see a crows head instead of her head.
But that's the great thing about art, we all bring our own desires and interpretations to the text we view.

i really like your interpretation. thank you for noting that, when i saved the PSD of it i called it DRAGONROOST because it looks somehow birdlike, but reptilian. the combination of the extension from the front of the face and the fingers forming a kind of plume, and the large round eye have a very crow look. i really appreciate your comment

off to a very, very good start. i love the blending of the hand into the face, and you applied the texture very nicely. maybe a different color than white for the border? i don't dislike it, but there's something about the border that doesn't quite fit, maybe that's it? just something to consider playing around with. i'm interested in seeing how this turns out.
