Description More of the first storm to hit Brighton this year. Sitting on the beach, watching the waves pund the West Pier, the girl makes me think of all the times that I had sat in almost her spot, trying to make sense of the turmoil around

This is very pretty. It makes me wonder.

I like how rough the water looks.

My only criticism is that the girl looks blurry, as if she was added with MS Paint or something.

When I saw the thumbnail I thought Brighton Pier.
I haven't been there for around twenty years.

I live in France now.

Thanks for the reminder.

one of the thing I love to do when in my home land Bretagne : looking at the storm, and even if no real storm, just the power of the sea...
This pic is great, can't say much more

Brighton Rocks -- at least it does when you're photographing it.

Love your tempestuous shots of the piers.

This one is my favorite - with the little bit of pebbles showing & the person sitting off to the side watching the storm. Good work!

some lunatic said he wanted to windsurf in this... now who would want to do that...

I like this one, particularly for the nonchalant spectator off to the side.

Looks the least stormy of the three storm shots. Still stormy, but more like the upper end of being able to windsurf, as opposed to sheer lunatic fringe as in the other two shots. Nice job indeed

Wow... what a brilliant shot... the light is magnificant, the DOF is fantastic, the water is captured wonderfully, the silhoette is great, and Brighton pier looks abandoned...

It looks so fragile... as if the person in the foreground would be sitting there, waiting for the bitter end.

Neat picture...what I would give to be the person sitting on the beach watching the waves.. Curious...how tall are the pilings supporting the pier? Was wondering how massive the waves can get...bet the pier really vibrates from the force of the wave action. Just lay on the deck and get a massage..

It's the pier!!!

I wish I could see waves like these. I bet the sounds and the feeling of power while viewing them is just awesome. Just amazing.

Wow...cool. The mixture of the achromatic backround with the out-of-focus foreground really come together to bring out the dramatic on-looking figure. Really great job.

i love this, there is just something about it, i love the water, composition is great, the person and building on left keeps scene, somewhat balanced in a wierd way cause you tend to focus on the water, great job, i love it

How strange... the first Autumn Storm didn't show up in my devWatch, but this one did!

I like this one... the texture in the foreground, mixed with the waves... and the person on the left is quite nice... this one makes me feel as if you're watching out and telling me to stay back before I get swept away!

Wonderful capture, sweetie!
