Description
This is a piece I did that is loosly based on a friend's role-playing character named 'Blayde'. We used to play Warhammer Quest a lot, and the characters are still with us several years later. Someday, I'd like to run more games in the world we'd built.The original piece was a test-render I'd done of an Aery Soul model called 'Justice'. I heavily overpainted and added a dragon in the back based on the Millenium Dragon. My goal was to offer a more 'painted' look, simulating a more classic style of portrait.
After finishing the piece and showing my friend, she informed the the character in the RPG was blonde. Oh well...

It started as a 3D render, but I completely overpainted it and heavily modified the original. It's essentially a 2D piece.

Nothing for ages and then two cool pieces. This is my favourite, love the character of her face. I can imagine someone looking like this and not the usual V4 women with flat noses.

As for the V4 women - yeah... sometimes they can look a bit plastic. That's where most of my postwork time goes.

Justice is a really nice set. Did you know AerySoul is on DA? They're using the name now. I really like the painterly effect you use. You're one of my idols when it comes to incorporating 3D models into 2D illustration. Keep up the awesome work!
