I've been working on verisons of the Justice League of America for a long time now, but haven't been happy with any of my early attempts - I've probably built Wonder Woman half a dozen times. Just this past month, I decided to update every one of the heroes in the current JLA roster (10 on all), and am finally seeing the results I wanted.This is the most recent set of test renders. I think they're about ready to start placing in actual scenes.

You mean Black Lightning? He's an older character, but less known than the Flash. He h appened to be on the roster when I did this piece (Flash was still dead at the time).

Yes, it's Poser. That particular piece was a set of costume tests I put together. I've updated most of those textures since then.

Really nice job! A lot of 3D rendering that I've seen of comics characters tend to look too inhuman or robotic OR they look human but not really at all like the actual character should look. You seem to have bypassed these issues. The extra effort makes a good bit of difference I'd say. And you managed to make the characters in the lower set just as interesting as the more well-known characters above them.

Will you put together a package and sell it in stores that distribute textures and props for Poser?
Where this mostly Vicky 3 and Mike 3 models?
Have you checked out the new stuff at Daz3D like the unimesh project they have going on? (instead of a separate female and male mesh, they will have a single one come out that will allow for both sexes morphing)

I can't sell the textures I make for copyright reasons (the characters belong to Marvel and DC). I'd be happy to follow unimesh, though... I'll look into those.

Love it! Although I reeeeeaaaallllllyyyy don't like wonder woman... her face looks too much like a man's face and her hair looks like it had been straightened so many times that it had died... P I realy don't know how to explain it, it's just.... wierd looking....

Keep in mind you're looking at a test render. There's no postwork, no corrections on the face, no attention on the hair. It was just to see if the costume would render. I'll be doing a full Wonder Woman shortly to show her in all her glory.

There is something just a little strange going on with Hal's lower ab/crotchular region though. The way the green hits the black seems a bit disjointed to me.

Wished I could get the clothing textures for stuff I want to do look that friggin great *rubs you ... maybe some of that talent will rub off on me ... lol

Thanks Adiene! Texturing is a particular fondness of mine since my brain can actually understand how to manipulate 2D - It's making clothes conform that befuddles me. I'm such a fan of the stuff you put together that I have a bit of envy in return

I can morphs stuff , learned some rigging. But I have to wait for my new super comp to be able to actually sit and model from scratch
