Well, I guess not.. I still just wish I had the chance to see Kamelot live while he was still in the band though =/

I hear you... I never got to see them either, not that they ever came to Australia.
I can see him doing a few Kamelot events though, he left on good terms it would be easy for him to sneak back in for a few live songs here and there.

Actually I think there's just not a whole lot of power metal fans here in general. Not that I know about anyways! =/ It really sucks coz even if any of those bands make it to Aus, I have no one to go with coz none of my friends are very big fans of metal of any subgenre.

..all I know about at the moment is Soundwave which I couldn't get tickets to because they sold out so quickly -as they do 
But I do have tickets for a sidewave -I don't know if you know the band Alter Bridge? They've got a sideshow with Steel Panther at the end of Feb that I'm going to

I love AB! Have been listening to AB III in my car for a week.
That is awesome! I had tickets to the last Soundwave. I was so excited 'cause Van Halen were going... I only just got my ticket in the mail when they then said that the show was cancelled. I was bummed.
