Description My first (and I stress that!) Flash animation.

It's far from perfect, but it was for Uni and I had a deadline. T'was fun anyway!

The file isn't that big, and the whole movie runs for around 3 minutes.

There are mistakes all the way through, but hey, you gotta start somewhere right?!

I thought about doing a course in digtial media. It would help if i could actually draw though. which i cant!
I found the uni library actually has several books on how to use flash. like textbook size books. after all my assignments are over I'll have to sit down with one and actually work though it

Actually it's Teal'c, Daniel and Sam. I thought about putting Jack in on the end but he looked out of place.

A lot of the people in my class couldn't draw to begin with either, but the teacher was great and you should have seen their work at the end of the semester!

The best book that I found for Flash was the "Dummies" guide for it.

Yay there is hope for me!! I draw people that look very 2 dimensional. no depth at all. but I shall practice during those really boring lectures that I have tomorrow

I shall search for it in my library, and attempt to do something as good as this weird wacky peice!

omg the bee ish sho cute and shweet It's awesome for a first flash attempt. I have a few suggestions though. When loading instead of making a round motion tween for the bee can you make one with the bee buzzing here and there cause even though it's a cartoon it looks kinda unnatural for a bee moving in round motin lol. I also notice the switch between night and day is too fast maybe if you lag it a bit more. I like the flash cause it has a smooth flow to it and the background music is classically hilarious. Yeah, I agree with you on all your constructive critisism (which I really appreciate BTW! ). Unfortunately I didn't have that much time to actually complete it, so there were a few things that I would have liked to work longer on. I had the night scene working perfectly until I converted it into a Flash8 file... then everything went screwy.

We only had a week to think of an idea and draw a storyboard up, so naturally I went for something easy! It was my first Flash animation and it was easier than I thought it was going to be. So much fun though! I'm thinking of making some more...
