I finnaaallly got around to making (well, starting on, anyway) a proper reference sheet for Bluuueeee~ I've been looking more closely at bluejay/cat anatomy to try to prevent any more 'puppy with a beak' incidents xD That said, I'm not too bothered about his anatomy being strictly cat/bluejay - he's sort of his own species, and I'm aware that his paws are too big for a cat and his beak is too short and wide for a 'jay. This is just the way it feels natural for me to draw him, and I know if I changed him so he fitted the criteria of a bluejay/cat cross more strictly, then drawing him would just be a pain 'cause I'd have to think about all that stuff and he wouldn't look right.

So, those are the 'mistakes' that I am putting down to style - but if you see anything that looks really off and doesn't work, let me know! There is a line, albeit fine, between intentional and unintentional errors :3

Artistic license and own interpretations are highly encouraged! Draw him however you like - personality is what matters :>
