If ever the Icepaw Tribe of Gnolls becomes a playable race, you know this will have to happen.

Definitely an excellent piece of work. Been ages since I've seen either gnolls or orcs shown realistically... if that makes since, given that neither are actually real.

My vote goes for the gnolls. One reason would be that I spent way too much time in EQ1 Blackburrow with my Iksar earning Qeynos faction

That and the Icepaw were the only other EQ1 race that had Monks. unfortunatly it was a Non-player race.

Well, Hyenas, but I quite agree, gnolls are much cuter then orcs.

Maybe in the AD&D universe, but on Norrath they resemble Canines The Darkpaws look like German Shepard, The Splitpaw look like Dobermans with red eyes. The Gnolls of the Sinking Sands look like those Egyptian jackals, and are even partially mummy-wrapped in clothing.
Kobolds on Norrath on the other hand DO resemble Hyenas.
