Of course, then fail in best way.
Famale face on male body, but this is not important.

Makes me think of that "firecaster" character from that Inkheart book series I have recently read about.
The flame is very whispy and ethereal, which is how fame acts in open air, especially if whatever is feeding it is moving quickly through that same open air, so I don't see the "fail" with the flame persay. The faces does look a little feminine because of the dark, full lips and smaller face, but there are plenty of androgynous male characters, so I wouldn't exactly call that a "fail" either. (That word has such a terminally negative connotation to it ) I would have made the nipples a little darker or more explicit, since it looks as though he has another pair in his ribs, there, but meh. One thing to be proud of is the golden filigree you implanted along the outlines of the face, arm, and hand, since it vividly represents that reflection of light from the blazing fire.
Just cuz certain parts of a deviation don't come together exactly as you want them doesn't mean the thing is a "fail," Draaky dear. You gotta keep things in perspective; one person's fail is another's success. What looks like fail to you, compared to the best work of lesser artists, on this site and elsewhere, looks like a glaring success. Besides, you can always learn a little something from each attempt, pass or fail. Listen to your teacher, Mr. MacLeod, on this one

This is less of a fail than most of my photography is. It is also quite an awesome fail. Not to mention that I've never seen a fail at anatomy, colors, flames or faces that has turned out so well as this did.
