Description
Bumbles are fast little creatures inhabiting the Southern desert plains of Meru. Their sand-colored fur blends in perfectly with... well, sand. Making it difficult for predators to see them even when close. If a predator does happen to spot one and give chase, the Bumble has a few tricks up its sleeve. The first is to head for the closest burrow, which a Bumble rarely strays far from. If that's not an option, a Bumble will simply run- or rather hop- away. Despite being quadrupedal while foraging/walking, Bumbles will switch to jumping on its two large back legs, which almost look to big for its body. Using their long tails as a counter balance, Bumbles can turn on a dime even when running at breakneck speeds, leaving the predator chasing dust. Speaking of tails, that little puff ball at the end isn't just for show! It's a diversion. Should a predator grab it instead of a meaty limb, the fluff falls away easily- leaving the rest of the Bumble to hop another day.

It's taken me much longer than I had hoped to finish something I felt was worth posting. Went through three different creatures before settling to finish this one. Hope y'all like it!
