Couldn’t help myself! Wanted to make an Addison OC but ended up making them a bit different as you can tell.
So I head-canon some viruses are kind of like cuckoo birds and slip their data into newly programmed groups of Darkners. Red may look like an Addison but they’re a form of ransomware that infects computers via ads, stealing information and selling it back to the user or to anyone wanting to bid for it. Due to the constant threat of anti virus programs hunting them down Red travels a lot, carrying his stolen goods in a cage like backpack filled with god knows what.
Red’s not entirely bad it’s just how he was made to be, he’s often friendly to any that are not his target even if he looks shady. He’s made a hobby of making rings fused with magic that most of the time can be helpful while others wearing them might end up cursed.
