Wow.....first off, this is SCREAMING for a story bit (FicBit) to go with this sheer pose of awesomeness....
Secondly, this is already in my favorites....
Third, if you wind up reading the Fantiss Call and wind up being inspired to do another Vynson illustration or anyone else for that matter...you most certainly have my blessing on that!
Fourth, I couldn't let something like this go with just a 3-month subby...this was completely unexpected and it made my month for certain....check your subby info when you get a chance.

Devinitely a rockin', tricked-out take on your friend's character. Commendable job on nailing the depth and scale of the wingspan, while naturally balancing out his pose to give him proper footing on the surface he's standing upon. As usual your detailing goes an extraordinarily long way, and the design looks great too. No doubt about it your friend's spirits will soar with delight once he gets a load of this.
