You know, Vynson WOULD have clocked himself in the face with a book at one point or another...that made me chuckle.

In some respects I'm doing well...and in some others I've been absolutely struggling.  
Dealing with estate issues and grief...new job excitement and stresses, and helping out people where and when I can, because that's what I do.  

Dragons are like that, I suppose.   ^-^

Been Better....Sure as Hell been faster.   Sorry for the late reply. 
Lots of crap going on, major hits to my self-confidence, loneliness, shyness overtaking and feeling like an overall goof-ass in the worst possible way. 

Some gaming has been going on, which helps me cope a bit. 

Maybe one day I'll gather up the nerve to run an illustration idea or two by people again, but really, I should be serious and let that be.  

And yeah...system overall and new methods sprung on us all at work, so that's been a fun exercise in panic and stress.  Chocolate helps. 

I hope you and Arno are doing much better than I am over here, however.   <:-}

*hugs*  Believe me, I'm there.  I just lost my wallet yesterday, after losing it just two months ago and having someone use my debit card for a couple of contactless payments... no big, bank refunded us for those, but the big gouge is losing my residence card, which costs about 280e to replace each time... plus losing my public transport pass means losing the balance on that; also twice.  So, yeah, I feel like an idiot and a complete screw up lately.

Meantime, I've gotten a couple of paid(!!!) editing jobs!  (Not much, certainly not professional rates, but still!)  One is from Renee, who you might remember from S8 chat, the other was from a friend I started doing beta work for in the Ninja Turtles community--she's taken one of her fanfics and altered it into an original work, and that's now ready for publication, so that's exciting.

Arno's been busy as hell at work... we're worried he's headed for a burnout, which seems to  be a common things among programmers... especially since he's been doing a lot of things more in the scope of Project Leader than actually programming lately, just to fill gaps.  He's good at it, suited for it, but he doesn't like doing it, and it exhausts him. :/  (So panic and stress, we hear a lot of that here too!)

And then at some point this year, I'm having my eyes lasered. So that's scary.  At the same time, though I'm really sick of my current glasses tearing my hair, so...   Maybe next time I see you, it'll be without glasses!

I have been better. Been dealing with a fair amount of stupid at work from the boss, and some of the coworkers. Need to start hunting for a different job soon since I'm burning out.

And thinking about moving out of California. Might go up to Washington since I have a few friends are trying to encourage me to head up that way.
