My oldest Pokemon Trainer, Ace's red Gyarados. His name means "Red Dragon" I believe, "aka" meaning "red" and "ryuu" meaning "dragon". (I should go back and add the extra "u" on his name...)

Akaryu's new design based on my previous deviantion. The scar on his neck is from a spear, and as such, shows on the other side of his body. When first found, Akaryu was an embodiment of rage and hatred, but has calmed down somewhat since then. The collar on his neck is made from various items, three Star Pieces, eight pearls, and one container of Mystic Water, and it was actually given to him from his trainer's grandmother. When in battle he has no set strategy, but Akaryu prefers first deal damage with his coils and fangs, and then finish off with Hyper Beam or Hydro Pump.

Akaryu comes from my file from Pokemon Gold, just like Ace and his team, and as such has never been given a Nature, but would more than likely be Adamant, since he can be very determined and unyielding. This would also mean that he has a cool personality. Heh...not role model material if ya ask me.
