Contest entry for my favorite boss of the original Spyro the Dragon series. I always loved when Dr. Shemp got flamed, and bounced onto the next platform trying to make his but chill out. LOLOLOLOLololI'm not too happy with the Bg, but oh well here's to the original spyro forever!!

Oh wow.... it took me a few moments to remember this part..... But then I was like, "OH MY GOD I HATED THAT BOSS."
Ahh, I was 3 When I was first introduced to the game....... 11 years ago, and it was my very VERY first EVER game.
But OH MY GOD THIS GUY he was a pain to kill..... For a 4 year old kid, at least.....

Thank you so much! I had fun making this. When I was younger, I remember this was the only boss that I faced where I didn't need any help finding his weak points. Luckily, at that time it wasn't mandatory for you to defeat a boss to progress in the story

I read your description and all your comment replies, and I just gotta say, I LOVE YOU. The world needs more people like you, who appreciate original Spyro!! Like yeah, I might have been a mere six-year-old when the first game came out, but I still play it, and I've finished it three times (always 120% of course) in the last 12 months - and I like to think I'm a hardcore fan. I love Spyro and your art is amazing and we should be friends! XD

Man, I've got to work on my response time...that aside, thank you for the lovely comment! It's rare as you said to find people still actively supporting the classic games. The skylanders series never stuck for me thanks to the outrageous change of style. I'd love to play the game again, but for now, It's just traditional fan art for me lol

X3 then your probibly the best person ever even if I did beat him I only got to the part with the bulls and dragon eating trees, the only time I have been to the last level I was 4 and I ended up dieing and looseing my game.

When you say dragon eating trees, I think of Spyro 2. It's been years since I got to play the first game. Last time I got the chance, I almost finished the game within three hours. Then the game vanished...again.
I can't say that i'm the best. of all the spyro games, that's one of the few that I never got the chance to finish

I've never played spyro 2 how is that game? Also the dragon eating trees were also in the one level in spyro were there was lava and portals and logs and electrocuting floors.

OOHHH! I think I know what world you're talking about. Spyro 2 was a lot of fun. I really enjoyed it when they had little intros for each portal that you jumped through. Not to mention Spyro was able to swim

as long as there's no sequel, i won't flame em. But if they seriously considered what they did to Rayman on the Wii, that would most definitely be in deserving of a cookie
