Sorry to burst your bubble " Dust can be harnessed in a variety of ways, but when used in its raw form, its full potential requires both an Aura and the intelligence to use it, meaning Humans, Faunus, and certain artificial beings, such as Penny Polendina, are the only ones who are able to effectively use it for combat. That's terrifying. Dust was said to be the only thing that leveled the playing field between humanity and Grimm, and NOW, Grimm can use it too.
We're dead.

Imagine them using Gravity Dust.

Just shoot it with a non-Dust bullet and we're good. Assuming one aims at the non-armored parts.

Willow is a Merlot Industries research droid that just like his creator, tries to give the monster's life a use and use grimm for labor.

Doctor Merlot would become a much more formidable opponent, with mutant versions of these things he'd have plenty of monster strength to destroy his obstacles, and plenty of dust to power his machines

What happens when they have gravity dust?

dragokaiju2000 In reply to CarlCrow [2018-04-04 00:56:06 +0000 UTC]
Oof! I was thinking about that as well. Probably it'll use it to create a shockwave when it pounds to the ground or to jump around on higher platforms.

I remember when Hazel used lightening dust he could create shockwaves, maybe that's ability all dust types have?

dragokaiju2000 In reply to CarlCrow [2018-04-06 02:29:56 +0000 UTC]
An "Electric" Shockwave. And Hazel also used Fire Dust to shot fireballs.

If you look closely in the Ruby Character Short the beringel for one second creates what looks like a small shockwave by punching the ground in a similar manner

So it may not be the best source but I feel like all dust-types could create shockwaves

dragokaiju2000 In reply to CarlCrow [2018-04-06 13:50:16 +0000 UTC]
Could be. But I think otherwise.

I think if there was a dust-type that'd use have the exclusive ability to create shockwaves it'd be earth

I'm a full on RWBY pro, I've read the manga, played the game, listened to the director's commentary, rewatched episodes frequently, backed Combat Ready, watched all the WoR episodes and edit the wiki
