I really do. And this was an arena match.
I buffed the Soldiers who were jumping up to the roof and managed to clamber up after them the long way. The Soldier I was healing jumped a gap to get to the other part of the roof. I froze for a moment. In front of me, my teammate was getting ahead. Below I could see BLU players. I grit my teeth and jump. And fall. What seems like the whole BLU team descend on me.
BTW I love my purple hobo hat.

I can't crouch-jump on anything to save my life, so when soldiers start hopping all over the place, I'll just wait for them to come find me when they start dying

Oh jeez, I hate it when that happens. When I have a medic with me, he is priority to defend. I go through routes which are easy on both of us, and safe for him

Honestly though, I can't blame the Soldier, it was just a simple crouch-jump that most players should be expected to be able to do. I just hadn't got the hang of crouch-jumping at that point. The point is I sort of suck at that sort of thing. (Half-life is proving hard.)
I drew this from memory, but it turns out the map is arena_lumberyard and I was climbing the stairs to the roof then failing to land the jump from the roof to the little walkway.

Everyone makes mistakes, can't blame the soldier either but I think it would be better if the took on the guys on the ground instead of going high up, making the medic a bit useless
