There she was, just standing there by your red step ladder... holding the rose you had picked for her. Her poise was surreal, eager, sparkly and so true to the season... it was as if she was holding herself up with the sparkly energy of the air around her. As you approach her, she looks up at you coyly, with that beautiful morning blue eye. With a loving mix of joy and expectation and not to mention anticipation, your heart melts as her beautiful cute expression completely fills your entire being and it hits you again... who is this girl I fell in love with?

-What a girl does to Spring

Okay, this is not the most refined drawing I can do, granted. What happened is that I started to draw the ink lines on the same layer as I did the sketch lines.. so yeah- big 'oops' there. Instead of starting over again, I decided to keep going despite not having a separate ink layer as I prefer. It's okay though, this is not the first time an artist transforms an error into part of his/her work.

It's approaching Spring time here for us in the Northern Hemisphere.. and what better way (besides budding flowers) to represent Spring than a beautiful girl in a Spring dress and sandals.. like o.m.g.! At least that is my opinion. If you ask me a girl+dress+sandals + Spring = utter perfection and union It's like you take everything beautiful about the Spring weather and combine it with everything beautiful about a human female and what you get is: heart melting, breath-taking symbiotic beauty
