In my peoples Norse mythology, a valkyrie is one of a host of female figures who decide which soldiers die in battle and which live. Selecting among half of those who die in battle, the valkyries bring their chosen to the afterlife hall of the slain, Valhalla, ruled over by the god Odin. There, the deceased warriors become einherjar. When the einherjar are not preparing for the events of RagnarΓΆk, the valkyries bear them mead. Valkyries also appear as lovers of heroes and other mortals, where they are sometimes described as the daughters of royalty, sometimes accompanied by ravens...~~~~~

I love the background, and the lighting is awesome. And I like that you bucked the trend and used her ME1/2 model, instead of the ME3. It's nice to see 'the old Ashley' once in a while...

Thanks. The shadow play was of course to emphasise her duality between being renegade and paragon, which Ashley has equally of. And ME1 Ashley is also my favorite and the true Ashley, before the marketing department threw her into the make-up chair and gave her a boob job...
