Oh, I love it when I do art in one sitting. It's so fun, relaxing, and in my opinion, those pics turn out the best. (Other one-sittingers are "Milky White" and "Hey, Girl!" for example XP).

Considering this is my first time to draw both Al's and Ed's arms, this turned out amazingly well. I mean, I had drawn the sketch for this perfectly in under 30 minutes. I was so amazed at how easy it was o_o I must be improving....

Also, excuse the lack of a background. I really didn't know what to put for one, and in the end I felt like no background was the best. More emphasis on Ed and Al, I suppose.

Well, now that I've talked about all the technical stuff, time to REALLY talk about this project >D.

There have been a few times in the anime and manga where Ed and Al knuckle-bump, high-five, thumbs-up, or anything else of the like with their inhuman hands. I have always felt that such moments are full of so much more significance than appears. I drew this wanting to symbolize the fact that, even with these monstrous bodies they own, Ed and Al's love and devotion for each other still persist, unfaltering and unhindered by anything that may happen to or around them. Even though they may not appear or even be so, they are still human internally and experience entirely human love for each other.

And that, I feel, is definitely worth portraying.

Made with graphite, toilet paper (for blending) and colored pencils.
