Description
So the final branch of the Re-militarization of the JSDF. This is the Imperial Japanese Marine Corps. They evolve from the JGSDF Amphibious Rapid Deployment Brigade (水陸機動団 [suiriku-kidoudan]). As it became more obvious the role that Marines would play in the coming war, the Japanese Ministry of Defense realized the necessity for a Marine Corps to be its own thing. So along with the remilitarization bill, there was a section establisthing the 大日本帝国海兵軍団 (dainippon-teikoku kaihei-gundan) or the Imperial Japanese Marine Corps.

For a uniform I imagine them adopting USMC uniform traditions and stylings considering how much of their military has done that with the other branches, this makes perfect sense to me. However, I see subdues ranks being used on the Service Greens, Gold ranks on the Dress Blues. And a dark brown/tan color being used for the junior Enlisted and Officer shoulder slips. The Junior Enlisted insignia will mirror the style of the USMC's dress and service chevrons. With dress blues getting scarlet backing and gold stitching and service greens getting scarlet backing and dark green stitching. The Sergeant insignia which usually appear on the lapel will be worn on the Mandarin Collar on the dress blue uniform and the stripes will be a similar scarlet red as the backing for the Junior Enlisted.
